Roof facing south
This customer in Grimsargh wanted to take full advantage of the most generous tier of the Feed in Tariff (up to 4kWp). We managed to secure 20 of the first batch of CEEG 200W panels into the UK, thus providing the full 4kW.
Overview
The house has an almost perfectly south facing roof with interlocking concrete tiles. The pitch of the roof is approximately 23°.
The Roof Equipment
The panels were mounted in portrait format in two rows of ten.
The Electrical Equipment
The roof has a particularly low pitch leaving little room for a single inverter to be installed and adequately ventilated. A system of two smaller inverters was therefore chosen for this installation. EverSolar TL2000AS inverters were used and the equipment is pictured below:
